Cookie Expert
We love English Class! The last two
weeks I brought cookies, made with Kristina’s amazing bribe cookie recipe.
. I call it her bribe cookie recipe because she would
make them for the person that decided who she would be working with. Everyone
at her work loves them. One of the Elders asked if I had always made such good
cookies. I laughed and told him this story. Before my mission I always overcooked cookie’s because I would get busy and forget about them. One time Lisa came into the kitchen, and grabbed a fresh baked cookie. She said, “these taste like crap (only she really said the word that starts with “s” and ends with “t”), who made them?
I was sitting right there. Kristina said, “mom
did." Lisa turned to me and said, “Mom these are really good!” The three
of us laugh so hard I thought we were going to cry! I have since learned to set
the timer on my iPad, so now I cook them just right.

Back to our English class-- this cute
Korean lady that happen to be sitting next to me had never spoke English. She
came with her teenage son to class, and he spoke very good English. When we
went to take this picture, she grabbed my arm. Then she said in perfect English,
“I love you!” English class is one of the funnest things we do here.
