Greetings from Elder Hawks

Hey everybody,
How are you all doing? I hope all is well. We are keeping busy with mission work, FHE, dinners, and a little site seeing. I also got a name ready for the temple. One of my Hunsaker clan. His name is Roy D Gallington. I am going to take his name though an endowment session on Sat. the 29th of October and then get him sealed to his parent Father Albert Gallington and Mother Nancy Caroline Hunsaker. Isn’t that great. So, let’s talk about 3-23 October how about that. We have been holding FHE at Camp Humphreys on a regular basis. We have 2 regular followers Alex and Christian. We wished it were more but we feel like even if it were only one it would be worth it.  We meet in a new chapel on Post. It is   nice building. At Osan AB the Elders Quorum President Aaron has been holding FHE on base and he is hit and miss on attendance too.
We have 2 meetings on Wednesday that of Mission District Meeting at 12:30 noon and English class. We meet with the Elders and Sisters and discuss our progress and our goals. It’s a good meeting. Ginger and I drove to Seoul on the 8th of this month and took a Seoul City tour bus hop on hop off. It was great and learn more about the city. We saw 2 palaces one of which was call Gyeongbokgung and just enjoyed the site. So, as you can tell we burn up the road from Camp Humphreys to Osan AB every week.

We had great experience on the 20th of this month. We sat at the feet of an Apostle of God and were taught inspiring words. Elder Bednar came and addressed the 2 missions in Seoul our mission South Seoul and Seoul mission.
We were asked to study 4 of his talks before he came. The meeting went like this, He asked us question from his talks and we stood up and answered them. It was a great meeting. We got ask him questions as well and the 2 visiting 70s who came with him one of which was the Area President Elder Whiting.
The questions went back and forth and the meeting seem to get more spiritual all the time. This wasn’t your average meeting as you may tell. We have had some very interesting times this month. We had a young lady from Osan, who is in the Air Force, show up at R/S where Ginger attended who was baptized you but had not been back to church for many years. The Sister missionaries are teaching her and we are helping. The Branch Presidents daughter at Camp Humphreys has a girlfriend (non-member) who will be taught by the Elder missionaries’ and we will be involved with that too. Lots of wonderful things are happening.
